Researcher Earns National Clinical Award
Emily Rabinowitz, a postdoctoral researcher with the 聽and the聽, has received a聽, presented by Division 38 of the 聽during a ceremony on June 10.
The award recognizes outstanding early-career contributions to clinical health psychology and is among the most competitive honors the society confers on postdoctoral researchers. Rabinowitz was one of only six recipients selected nationally this year. This award supports Rabinowitz鈥檚 efforts to become a clinical scientist, with a focus on trauma and behavioral medicine.
Rabinowitz conducts her work under the supervision of Joseph W. Ditre, professor of psychology and director of the Center for Health Behavior Research and Innovation.
The Society for Health Psychology promotes the science and practice of health psychology across research, clinical practice, education and public policy.
