Purser says:

鈥淭his strike by the New York State Nurses Association is one that everyone should be paying attention to.

鈥淣urses 颅颅鈥 who have worked in untenable conditions throughout the pandemic 鈥 have been tirelessly raising concerns about chronic understaffing and the inadequate provision of care for patients. They are striking to demand a fair contract that puts patient care and safety, as opposed to managerial penny-pinching, at the forefront.

鈥淓very single one of us should be invested in this struggle.鈥
